Food is not covered in the tuition expense, so we suggest that each student have a monthly support base of $50 - $100 to help with personal items and food. Students pay for food in a variety of ways. Some students put all of their money together each month and collectively purchase food and some buy food separately based on personal preference.

Masters Commission balances academics with hands on learning in all areas of ministry offered. It is very important to be practical. And although Masters Commission is not accredited, several colleges accept a year of Masters Commission as the freshmen year of college. Please contact our office for a list of such colleges.

Unfortunately at this time we do not have any financial aid or scholarship programs available although we would like to in the future.

How does the average student pay for MC Phoenix?
There are several ways to pay for Master’s Commission. A few keys ways we have found to be effective are working and saving money, writing support letters to friends, families, and Christian businesses, and receiving home church sponsorship. Almost every person who comes to Master’s Commission has a different story of how God provided for them financially. Each story is a miracle. Keep working and praying and the money will work itself out. God is faithful and He is not limited by money. Don't give up, His timing is not ours.

Our second year program is heavily geared towards leadership training and development. The student goes from being just the recipient of the program to being a part of the leadership team. Our 2nd year are trained to carry several responsibilities such as: leading small groups, scheduling, running events, training, student development, travel teams, and much more. All of this takes place under the guidance of the MC Phoenix staff.

Are 1st year students really not allowed to date?
Master’s Commission Phoenix does have a no dating policy during a student’s first year. This is because the goal and very heart of our program is to provide an atmosphere where our students can solely focus on giving one year of their life to God. We want the student to fall wholeheartedly in love with God which is hard to do if their heart belongs to another person. This may seem like a challenging commitment up front, especially in today’s society, but in the end most of our students feel like it is one of the best decisions they ever made.
